The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) describes the virus as the cause of an outbreak of respiratory illness first reported in Wuhan, China. Pharmacists play a key role as patient care providers and in implementing infection control procedures. This situation is moving very quickly and we at MSHP remain committed to providing pharmacists with current information and resources that will enable them to care for patients and the concerned public while also tending to their own health and that of their loved ones.
